House fire with no hydrants gives FD chance to explain tanker operations.

A Sunday night fire in Greeville County, South Carolina had the local TV station wondering why there were no fire hydrants in the area. While that may be a surprise to the news people it wasn’t to Lake Cunningham Fire Department Chief Tommy Norris. He explained that almost 25 per-cent of the district’s 53-square mile is without hydrants. But the chief also used it as an opportunity to explain tanker operations to the public.
