Looking For Something To Do In Alabama? Check out Birmingham’s Firefighting Museum

It doesn’t have a name yet, and only a few people visit every couple of days, but the Southern Vintage Fire Apparatus Association’s Birmingham chapter has a warehouse full of antique apparatus.

AL.com reports the museum has only been open a few months, and while admission is free, you do have to phone ahead for tours.

Among the displays are a 1917 American LaFrance and a 1960 Seagrave ladder truck.
