NBCActionNews.com reports 2 of the 5 firefighters injured early Monday morning in a head-on collision between two fire engines have been released. Among the injured is Central Platte Fire District's Fire Chief, who Fox4KC.com reports was driving one of the trucks.
The Kansas City Star reported the firefighters were headed to a deck fire before dawn when one truck missed the driveway. They turned around and were headed back to the house when the two rigs collided.
