Two New Rigs Not Responding Because They’re Too … LOUD?

Two new aerial rescue pumpers are being kept off the street because, according to the fire chiefs in Derby and Chesterfield, UK, the rigs are too loud and pose health hazards.

The DailyMail reports they pumpers have been out of service for more than a year.

The chairman of the Derbyshire Fire Authority wouldn't go into details with ThisIsDevonshire, telling the news organization: "To say what our issues are may damage negotiations. What if it went to court and I said something that undermined our case?"

Yeah,  fire is a lot quieter..
Burning flesh hardly makes any noise at all.
Smoke filled lungs do not make a sound..
