The Cowpens Fire Department in South Carolina will need donations to help repair its 1940s General Motors fire truck after thieves took the wiring, the original wooden ladder, and even the fire bell.
WYFF reports the truck was stored in a garage, and the thieves were able to get in by cutting a hole in side of the metal wall.
"It's frustrating, because we're trying to do things to help the community to be happy with and something to kind of show support for the town, and then somebody comes and does something like this," (Chief Jamie) Caggiano said.
