A 36-year-old man on a motorcycle was killed when he crashed the bike into a Miami Fire Rescue ambulance on Monday. The firefighters and a patient on board were not hurt.
The truck, with emergency lights and siren on, was transporting a patient Monday when the crash happened, said Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll.
The paramedics jumped off their truck to give CPR to the badly injured cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet.
Another fire-rescue truck was called to transport both patients.
