Motorcyclist killed after crashing into Miami Fire Rescue ambulance.

A 36-year-old man on a motorcycle was killed when he crashed the bike into a Miami Fire Rescue ambulance on Monday. The firefighters and a patient on board were not hurt.

From the Miami Herald:

The truck, with emergency lights and siren on, was transporting a patient Monday when the crash happened, said Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll.

The paramedics jumped off their truck to give CPR to the badly injured cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet.

Another fire-rescue truck was called to transport both patients.

A Spokane fire truck responding to a call for a seizure hit the front porch of the home, after the crew left the vehicle.  According to KXLY-TV, the crew entered the patient’s home and heard the noise as the engine crashed into the porch. They had parked the truck about 100 yards away.  No one was injured.
